About Us

Back in 2019, I was focused on essential oils—creating custom blends, stocking them in local shops, and hosting workshops around town. I loved what I was doing—but honestly, my events weren’t pulling in the crowds I hoped for. I knew I needed something to spark more interest.

Around the same time, my mom gifted me a succulent garden for Mother’s Day. That one gift opened up a whole new world for me. I started learning about succulents—how easy they were to care for, how much personality they brought to a space—and that’s when the idea hit me: what if I combined my essential oil workshops with a plant experience?

So I launched succulent workshops where guests could build their own mini gardens and take home a plant spray made with essential oils. The goal was to draw people in with plants and introduce them to oils along the way.

But something unexpected happened—people couldn’t get enough of the plants. Before I knew it, I was selling more succulents than sprays. That surprising shift showed me that I had tapped into something really special.

So, I followed the momentum. I leaned into the plant world, slowly shifting from oils to houseplants, and eventually building a full collection of low-maintenance indoor plants, plant care essentials, and plant-inspired retail treasures. That unexpected pivot turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Now, Little Leaf Essentials: Plant Shop & More is more than a plant shop—it’s a space to connect, create, and grow. We host engaging workshops, offer a hands-on DIY Plant Bar, and provide a welcoming spot for private events and celebrations. The Showroom & Lounge, curated in collaboration with
Ampersand Home, is now open for you to explore—and our sober Mocktail Lab will be opening soon!

This journey has taught me to trust the pivots, follow the curiosity, and always make space to grow. I’m so proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited for what’s ahead.
